- Description
- Offeror shall provide all services, personnel, material, audio-visuals aids, training aids and travel and lodging necessary to revise and present a course of instruction entitled "OSHA Inspection." The course is designed to give students skills focusing on compliance in construction and operations activities. This will be a firm-fixed price type contract with two options years. Sessions scheduled for FY02 are as follows: Session 02-01,11-15 Feb 02, Savannah, GA; Session 02-02, 29 Apr-3 May 02, St Louis MO; Session 02-03, 10-14 Jun 02. The following course locations and dates for options years FY03 and FY04 are estimates and subject to change: Session 03-01, 24-28 Mar 03, Huntsville, AL; Session 03-02, 12-16 May 03, Dallas, TX; Session 03-03, 9-13 Jun 03, Virginia Beach, VA; Session 04-01, 22-26 Mar 04, Nashville, TN; Session 04-02, 26-30 Apr 04, Albuquerque, NM; and Session 04-03, 7-11 Jun 04, Huntsville, AL. Sessions consist of 36 hours of classroom instruction with 35 students per session. The instructor staff shall consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 instructors. Each instructor shall have at least 5 years experience, during the last 10 years, in general safety, construction safety, or industrial safety and the inspection of workplace environments for OSHA compliance, developing hazard analysis and abatement plans, or the implementation and enforcement of Federal Safety and Health Regulations. Each instructor shall have taught within the last 3 years not less than 400 hours of classroom instruction in inspecting the workplace environment for OSHA compliance, developing hazard analysis and abatement plans, or Federal Safety and Health Regulations. The contractor staff shall have experience in developing or revising instructional materials for at least 3 courses during the past 3 years in inspecting the workplace environment for OSHA compliance, developing hazard analysis and abatement plans, or Federal Safety and Health Regulations. Additionally, to be considered eligible for award, the successful offeror must be registered with the DOD Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr2000)and provide a DUNS number which may be obtained through information at the following internet site: //www.dnb.com/, or by calling 800-234-3867. Technical evaluation criteria will be set forth in the solicitation scheduled to be issued on or about 17 Sep 01. Copies of the solicitation and course materials shall be obtained by written request without cost. Telephonic requests will not be honored. This is a 100% set-aside for small business procurement. The Standard Industrial Code is 8299. For the purpose of this solicitation, any concern whose gross annual receipts over the past three years does not exceed $5,000,000 is considered a small business.
