Grade JP8 aviation turbine fuel, NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, MIL-DTL-83133E dated April 1, 1999, purchase program 2.2A, quantity 960,019,000 US gallons; Grade JP5, aviation turbine fuel, NSN: 9130-00-273-2379. MIL-DTL 5624T, dated September 18, 1998, Purchase Program 2.2C, quantity 381,062,000 US gallons; Grade F76 naval distillate fuel, NSN: 9140-00-273-2377, MIL-F-16884J, dated May 31, 1995, Purchase Program 2.5A, quantity 211,967,000 US gallons; Gasoline, Automotive, Unleaded, Midgrade, 89 Octane, Volatility Class A-3, NSN: 9130-01-272-0983, ASTM D 4814, Purchase Program 2.5A, quantity 700,000 US gallons. Requirements are for activities in the U.S. East and Gulf Coasts and Offshore locations of Puerto Rico, Cuba and Panama. Delivery period is April 1, 2002 through March 31, 2003. Approximately 33% of all products are being set-aside for small business. Some quantities might be set-aside as 8 (A) reservations. DESC is unable to accept any offers from small businesses for which the same quantities are being used as supply commitments for the 8 (A) program. Copies of the East/Gulf Coast RFP will be available via the World Wide Web at the Defense Energy Home Page (www.desc.dla.mil). A WWW posting notice will be sent to all firms on the solicitation mailing list on the date the East Gulf RFP is issued and posted on the DESC Home Page. Request for paper copies of the East/Gulf RFP or the WWW Posting Notice ( please specify which) must be submitted via fax (703-767-9269 ATTN: DESC-BZC RFP SP0600-02-R-0061. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Offerors are required to complete, sign and return the document entitled "Offer Submission Package" to the DESC Bid Custodian. Offers via electronic mail will not be accepted. See Notes 2, 9, and 12.
