Description

The Regional Contracting Department Pearl Harbor Hawaii intends to negotiate from a written quotation, a sole source contract. The requirement is to procure commercial supplies -- five each KG-235 Type 1-Encryptors, one each Sectera IP INE Configuration Manager Software, one each SEC Platform User Manual, one each Configuration User Manual, one each power supply and one each CM200 Configuration Manager Software for use with the activity's existing GCCS-T/GCCS-K NES's system. The procurement is in accordance with FAR Part 12 and uses FAR Part 13.5 procedures. It is anticipated that a single- award contract be issued to Motorola IISG of Scottsdale, Arizona. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for Department of Defense contract awards. This RFQ/solicitation may be downloaded from our website at http://www.cic.pearl.fisc.navy.mil/fisc/owa/solicitation_registration.start_page. RFQ/Solicitation No. N00604-01-T-B282 is assigned. Source(s) are responsible to periodically check this website for any amendments that may be issued, until the closing date of the quotation. Hard copies of the solicitation shall not be available. Phone requests will not be accepted. Offerors shall provide their name, address, phone/fax numbers and e-mail address. The RFQ will be available at our website approximately 17 August 2001. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offerors inability to access the document posted on the referenced web page. For reference, the solicitation/RFQ shall also be posted to the NECO web site (www.neco.navy.mil/search_edi.cfm). The signed, completed quotation/solicitation, including the marked certifications/representations found in clause FAR 52.212-3 shall be e-mailed to deborah_a_alberto@pearl.fisc.navy.mil or faxed to (808) 473-5750 by 2:00 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time on 23 August 2001. The text of all referenced clauses can be viewed at http://arnet.gov/far. An award is anticipated no later than 6 September 2001. The criteria for award shall be based on the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, responsible offer.
