Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is M6700101Q0039. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The proposed acquisition is a small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code for this requirement is 5082 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Item #0001: Line Item #0001: Replacment Cutting Head for Gyrotrac GT-18, qty 1 each, SPECS AS FOLLOWS: Safety Shields Single row chain curtain on the rear, Weight 3120 lbs (1418 kg), Cutting width 87 inches (2210 mm), Overall height 68 inches (1727 mm), Overall width 107 inches (1727 mm), Drum diameter 15 1/2 inches (394 mm), Cutting diameter 20 inches (508 mm), Drive Two (2) synchronous belts Gates GT2, Ratio 1:1, Hydraulic motors Sundstrand 90 Series 75 cc, Output speed 2000 rpm, Individually replaceable teeth. Equipment must be capable of being connected to a GyroTrac GT-18 XP WITH NO ADDITIONAL COSTS to the U.S. Government. Quotes other than FOB Destination will be rejected. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders Commercial Items, DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, DFARS 252.225-7000 Buy American Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate, and DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. "OFFEROR SHALL PROVIDE COMPLETED COPIES OF FAR 52.212-3 AND DFARS 252.225-7000 WITH THEIR QUOTE. The Offeror is required to provide their Contractor's DUNS Number and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code with their quote. The CAGE code entered must be for that name and address provided by the Contractor. DFAR 252.204-7004 (mar 1998) Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR).
