Description

Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Rebuild Lift Station, Bldg 667 in connection with project EGL 00-1114. This project will consist of replacing the two existing pumps with variable speed pumps. A grinder, provided by Eglin AFB, will be installed before the lift station as well. This work will include all associated equipment and materials as shown on the drawings. Materials and services not expressly shown or called for in the contract documents, which are necessary for the complete and proper construction of the work, shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the contractor. Performance period is 45 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Quote Closing of 30 August 2001 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued, but the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available on the Federal Government's Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov). Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. See Note 26.=20
