- Background "SUBJECT: FURNISH ALL LABOR AND MATERIAL TO REMOVE EXISTING DOMESTIC WATER PIPING AND REPLACE THE PIPING. PLEASE GO TO www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil TO VIEW COMPLETE SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This item prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation #F33601-01- 20400 is a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The NIAC Code is 235110. This acquisition has one line item (0001). Remove existing domestic water piping from Bldg 31240 and replace the piping with type L copper piping from the 4" backflow preventers out thru the building, 24 boiler circulation pumps, ash doors and other connections. MATERIAL NEEDED: 600 Ft 4" K Type Copper, 350 Ft 3" K Type Copper, 350 Ft 2" K Type Copper, 500 Ft 1" K Type Copper, 4-4" Globe Valves, 3-3" Globe Valves, 5- 2" Globe Valves and 50-1" Globe Valves. ALL MATERIAL DEMOED WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE BUILDING. The line item is for the contractor to furnish all labor, parts, transportation and equipment to Repair, remove, maintain and replace the specified piping at Building 1240 on Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Installation must be completed by 15 AUG 01. All work will be IAW the attached Statement of Work (www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil) Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial, (Oct 1995) is hereby incorporated by reference. The offeror shall provide past performance information on three recent and relevant contracts for the same or similar service. The offeror shall submit a Present/Past Performance Reference List citing the contract number, name, phone number and fax number of point of contact, and dollar value of contract. The Offeror will submit a copy of the Present/Past Performance Questionaire (attached to the website) to each of the three references with instructions to send completed questionaires to the Contracting Specialist Not Later Than 27 JULY 01. The address label shall reflect the following information: Solicitation Number F33601-01-20400 "To be delivered unopened to the Contracting Specialist "(MARYLIN FLINT)" and shall be delivered to proposal address above. Past Performance questionaires may also be faxed to (937) 257- 3926 (Attn:Marylin Flint). FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items; Award will be based on overall best value. Evaluation criteria to include price and past performance. Price will be submitted including services and materials to provide all work IAW the attached Statement of Work. All offerors shall include with their offers a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items (Oct 95), is hereby incorporated by reference. The following FAR clauses are incorporated into this contract reference to implement provisions of law or executive orders: 52.222-26, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer- Central Contractor Registration; 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration.
