Description

The Air Armament Center (AAC) intends to award a contract for technical support for the integration of the GEMACS 6.0 and the GEMAC 6.1 Software program into the AFSEO EMC production process and technical support for continued development for the Seek Eagle electromagnetic modeling and simulation system(SEEMS). This is a contemplated sole source to Advanced Electromagnetics, 4516 Stockbridge Ave NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87120. The solicitation for the announcement is F08651-01-Q-0028 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The contractor shall deliver and perform a limited verification of GEMACS and modify and fix GEMACS identified during code verification. Initiate the developmental process of SEEMS I/O architecture and the integration of GEMACS into AFSEO. Provide the capability of modeling and simulating the electromagnetic characteristics of aircraft/weapon configurations. The SEEMS system will also be capable of electromagnetic modeling and simulation of other military and commercial electromagnetic codes to support the current and future electromagnetic compatibility requirements of the Air Force. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes RFQ. A written RFQ will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511.
