Description

ISO Container -- Open All Sides, 21 each 8.5' x 8' x 20' with option quantity of 25 each 8' x 8' x 20' which may be exercised within 18 months after contract award. Delivery to 5880 Channel View Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida, 32226-3404. Containers will be non-collapsible, ISO 1CC, with full-length doors on all 4 sides, vented steel freight cargo containers for transportation, distribution, and storage of military supplies. Containers shall be manufactured to meet all dimensions, ratings, and testing criteria for ISO criteria for series 1, Designation 1CC of ISO Standards handbook 34, ISO standard 1496/1, ISO 9001 and or ISO 14001 Quality and Environmental Standards in manufacturing ISO containers. Containers shall be new and unused. Two sets of certified drawings shall be submitted with proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. All companies proposing on any Government contract must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The solicitation for this procurement will be posted on the NECO website (www.neco.navy.mil) within 5 days of this announcement. Award will be made within 25 days of the solicitation posting. All specific requirements for this procurement are within the solicitation. If shipment from overseas is required, there is a mandatory requirement for the utilization of a Flag Ship for this transportation.
