Description

Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Install Grit Chamber, Eglin AFB FL. This project includes furnishing all labor, equipment and materials to accomplish the installation of a grit chamber on the existing 30" CMP sanitary sewer line before building 545, Eglin AFB FL. THIS IS A TRADE OFF (PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE-OFF) ACQUISITION. Award will be made based upon "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The government reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest proposed price. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Proposal acceptance period is 60 calendar days. Performance period is 30 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $100,000 and $250,000. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Proposal due date of 20 August 2001 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the Request for Proposal will be available on the Federal Government?s Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov). No response to this notice is necessary, and no Source List will be maintained. See Note 26.
