Description

Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for Repair Building 246 including HVAC, Dock, Elevator, Voice and Data at Fort Leavenworth, KS. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the repair of interior walls, tack board surfaces, ceilings and floors to include some realignment of existing walls; repair of the plumbing system, repair of the HVAC system, and repair of the loading dock; alterations of the building sprinkler, electrical and security systems including voice and data to match the altered floor plan and replacement of the elevator. The specified demolition work includes removal of materials covered with lead based paint. The magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Anticipate award of a firm-fixed price contract. This acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 235110 with a small business size standard of $7 million for three (3) preceding fiscal years. Invitation for Bids (IFB) DABT19-01-B-0004 will be issued on or about 6 July 01 from http://leav-www.army.mil/doc. Bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (www.ccr2000.com) prior to receiving the bid package. All requests for this IFB shall be in writing and reference DABT19-01-B-0004.
