Description

Educational Counseling Services in support of the Fort Leavenworth Education Services on Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The contractor shall provide all management, training, personnel, transportation, travel, material, supplies and equipment on an overhead basis, with expenses being amortized into unit prices. This is a Labor Hour Type contract with no guaranteed minimum for the period 16 September 2001 through 15 September 2002 with two option years. Resumes on individuals being considered for employment must be submitted with bid. Any individual hired for this position must have the knowledge and skills set forth in the Statement of Work beginning day one of the Base Period. The Government will not pay for a transition period. However, the contractor, at his own expense, can be allowed to observe for two weeks prior to the start of the contract. The hours for this contract are sporadic and are set on a week to week basis. This acquisition is restricted to small business. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 61171. The size standard for a small business concern is Not to Exceed 3.5 million dollars. The RFQ is to be issued on or about June 15, 2001. All request for this IFB should be in writing and reference DABT19-01-Q-1015. Contractor shall indicate their Taxpayer Identification Number and if they are a woman-owned, minority business concerns, HUB Zone, Veteran Owned, small or large business firm. Bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr2000.com) to be eligible for award. The current contractor is Aquasis Services, Pensacola, Florida at $29.83 per hour.
