Description

The Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for supplies. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a separate written request for quotation will not be issue. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-01-T- 0028. This requirement is for a GENERATING AND CHARGING PLANT, NITROGEN. Power requirements 230/460 VAC, 3 PHASE, 60 HZ, 55/27.5 Amps, 17.5 Horsepower Motor. Unit should be capable of producing Nitrogen at a minimum PURITY of 97 percent, 10.0 Standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) continuous flow at regulated pressures from 50 to 5000 PSIG; minimum dew point of minus 65 deg f; fully automatic operation; includes, operating controls, visual pressure instrumentation and product sampling port; 350 standard cubic feet internal storage @ 5000 psig. Enclosure should be sound deadening with all items included within a single cabinet. Unit is stationary with Forklift Pockets for ease in movement. This requirement is for Full and Open Competition, using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 331419; small business size standard: 750 employees. Supplies will be delivered to Eglin AFB on an FOB Destination basis. Delivery date after award is 30 days.
