Description

The 350 GPM pump is the primary pump within the water supply tank farm. It is a trailer mounted diesel engine driven, centrifugal type pump rated at 350 GPM with 275 Ft total dynamic head. Both intake and discharge ports are 4-inc cam-lock type fittings. Characteristics of Pump: Weight -- 2,140 lb, Width -- 70 in, Length -- 78 in, Height -- 68 in, Cube -- 215 Ft, Square Stowage -- 38 Ft. This notice is provided for informational purposes only, with the understanding that the Government is under no obligation of any kind to proceed with an acquisition in any way related to the data set forth in this notice. However, if the Government decides to proceed with issuance of a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for a competitive procurement this will be the only CBD notice for potential offerors. The Government is not requesting any potential suppliers of the subject requirement to incur any expense to this notice, not will any written response provided hereto constitute a basis for payment, reimbursement, or consideration from the Government. This market survey (notice) is not intended as a solicitation for a proposal and any submission of an unsolicited proposal based on this notice will not be given consideration. The cutoff date for responses is 10 May 2001. It is planned that if a formal RFP is issued, it will be posted on the MCLB/Albany (www.ala.usmc.mil) and Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) (www.neco.navy.mil) websites.
