Description

Flight Services, fully contractor operated and maintained, operating in the Gulf of Mexico area in support of the Minerals Management Service offshore inspections and the United States Coast Guard Outer Continental Shelf programs. The contract will require 15 exclusive use helicopters plus intermittent service at 5 additional locations. We anticipate that the aircraft will be primarily based at New Orleans, Houma, Lafayette, and Lake Charles, LA and Corpus Christi and Lake Jackson, TX.. Aircraft will be primarily single turbine engine helicopters plus one twin engine aircraft similar to a BH412 or S-76. Contract is anticipated to be a one-year contract starting on October 1, 2001 with options to extend for an additional 4 years. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on the OAS web site (www.oas.gov)as of 03/30/01.
