Description

The Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit, request for proposal/quote, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a name brand Digital Recorder. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-01-T-0015. This requirement is for the following software/hardware: 1-Each-Recorder, Metrum-Datatape Buffered VLDS, Digital Recorder/Reproducer (Metrum-Datatape P/N VLDSBBTS); 1-Each-Controller, Metrum-Datatape Touch Screen Controller with IRIG Time Code (Metrum-Datatape P/N TSCONSTT). The hardware is used to provide required real-time recording and post-mission reproducing of critical system under test mission performance data off of three different systems. These items are required to accomplish integration into existing telemetry hardware and software components and test mission support capabilities. Supplies will be delivered to EGLIN AFB FL on an FOB Destination basis. Delivery Date after award is NLT first week of June 2001. This requirement is for Full and Open Competition using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334111 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
