Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) document subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F31610-01-Q-0229 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The government intends to issue a purchase order for topsoil and fill dirt. No partial quotes will be considered. Please acknowledge all items on the quotations (see attached). The provisions and clauses applicable to this purchase order are included. SIC CODE: 1442 Quotes must be valid for 30 calendar days after the due date of this RFQ. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 2 Feb 2001 on FedBizOpps (FBO) at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. You must register on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation.
