The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Water (OW), Office of Science and Technology (OST), Standards and Applied Science Division (SASD) has a requirement for Watershed Assessments; related Internet and Intranet applications support; Workshops, training, and logistical support; Technical support of models and modeling applications; and Expert/Peer Review support. Under the Clean Water Act of 1987 (CWA), SASD is responsible for directing the national program for adoption of Water Quality Standards and for developing prevention and remediation strategies to reduce the risk to human health and aquatic life resulting from contaminated fish and sediment. Contract support is required for this mission. The EPA anticipates a cost type, level of effort contract, for a base period of one year and four option periods of one year each for a total contract period of performance of five years. Each contract period will consist of approximately 7,500 professional man-hours with options for an additional 7,500 professional man-hours per period.
