THIS IS A "TRADE-OFF" (PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE-OFF) ACQUISITION. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with the installation of backflow preventers in the potable and fire protection water services lines to the facilities at Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work will consist of installing double check and reduced pressure backflow preventers at existing buildings. Outdoor installations will require an enclosure. Proposal due date of 11 JULY 2000 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance period is 200 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
