Wright-Patterson AFB, OH has a requirement to provide fleet service to 445 AW aircraft and 88 ABW Transient Alert aircraft 17(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This item prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued 17(ii) Solicitation #F33601-00-R-0002 is a Request for Proposal 17(iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. 17(iv) This is an unrestricted acquisition. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 4581. The small business size standard is $5.0M. 17(v) This acquisition has two line items for the base year and two line items for each option contract period: Line 1 is for fleet service for 445 AW aircraft, line 2 is for fleet service for Transient Alert aircraft. The period of performance is 1 Feb 00 -- 31 Jan 01. Four one year options may be awarded.
