V -- DOD DEFENSE TRAVEL SYSTEM DEMONSTRATION OF THE COMMON USER INTERFACE DOD Defense Travel System Demonstration of the Common User Interface Functionality of the Reservation Modual and PNR Gateway as they interact with the live SABER set up. Following a brief overview of the Defense Travel System, a demonstration is being held to show live functionality between the Defense Travel System, TRW, Inc. and Industry. It is assumed that participants have basic knowledge of the Defense Travel System. Detailed background information will not be presented. This information can be found at the PMO-DTS and/or TRW websites (www.dtic.mil/travelink/ and www.defensetravel.com, respectively.) The Society for Travel Agents in Government (STAG) and the Project Management Office-Defense Travel System are hosting the demonstration which will be presented by TRW, Inc. The presentation will be held August 5, 1999, from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the TRW, Inc. facility, located at 12900 Fairlakes Parkway, Fairfax, Va. Directions to the facility are as follows: from the Beltway take I-66 west to Fairfax County Parkway, Exit 55b (Reston/Herndon), to left at first traffic light onto Fairlakes Parkway, to right at third stop light into the TRW parking lot. Badges are required and will be distributed to attendees in the downstair's lobby prior to the presentation. Due to room size, seating will be limited to 200. Advance registration is required.
