The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide Repair of Airfield Surface and Crack and Joint Seal of Airfield Pavement on or near the various aprons, taxiways and runways at Marshall Army Airfield, Fort Riley, KS. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 28 May 99 with a bid opening on or about 28 Jun 99. The estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Proposed contract will be a firm fixed price requirements type contract. Work is to be completed within 180 days after receipt of a notice to proceed. The requirements include a provision for either or both of two types of crack and joint seal, Hot-Poured Jet Fuel Resistant or Compression Seal Jet Fuel Resistant and bidders must be able to fulfill both requirements. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this project is 1611. The proposed requirement listed herein is solicited unrestricted. The small business size standard for this SIC is $17.0M.
