This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Request for Quotation announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. This solicitation is unrestricted to all businesses in accordance with FAR Part 13 and 19. The Standard Industrialization Code is 3841, size standard 500. The contractor shall provide the following: an anesthesia machine that meets the performance standards of an Datex-Ohmeda AS/3; North American Drager NM4 or equal; quantity 02. Price to include trade-in of two anesthesia units by Ohmeda SN: ABQR01306 & ABQR01305. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations. The Government will award a purchase order based on Item capability to meet Agency needs, Price, Delivery Time, and Past Performance. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the following: technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements of the solicitation (i.e. product literature), the terms of any expressed warranty, price and any discounts, and delivery times.
