Z -- STEAM DISTRIBUTION REPAIRS SOL IFB 542-19-98 DUE 091198 POC Harry Pearson, Contract Specialist, (610) 383-0202 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the replacement of underground steam and condensate systems between manhole # 11 and Bldg. # 18, at this VA Medical Center. This will include excavation, grading, replacement of pipe rollers and supports, road cutting & repairs, some Asbestos Abatement, insulating, replacing piping, trench work, and other associated work. The Contractor will be responsible for the repairs of all surfaces and/or areas damaged due to the demolition and/or construction connected with this project. All work will be in accordance with the supplied specifications and contract drawings. This Solicitation is available for full and open competition. The cost range for this project is estimated between $10,000 and $100,000. Requests for a solicitation package must be in writing to the Contracting Officer along with a non-refundable fee of $25.00, in the form of a check made payable to the Department of Veterans Affairs. All requests must indicate the solicitation number, name of the project requested, complete company name, complete company address, company telephone and facsimile numbers, and the name of a contact person.
