COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MAY 4,1998 PSA#2087Federal Computer Acquisition Center (FEDCAC), 110 Hartwell Avenue,
Lexington, MA 02173-3116 70 -- FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION (FBI), INFORMATION SHARING
INITIATIVE (ISI) SOL TFF-98-018 POC D. Jeanne Davis, Contracting
Officer (781) 860-7138, jeanne.davis@gsa.gov WEB: Federal Computer
Acquisition Center, http://www.gsa.gov/fedcac. E-MAIL: Federal Computer
Acquisition Center, jeanne.davis@gsa.gov. The Government conducted an
evaluation of Performance Record for potential offerors on the FBI's
ISI procurement, FEDCAC Project 118. Participation in this evaluation
was voluntary and failure to participate does not preclude a team from
submitting a proposal in response to the RFP. The evaluation was
conducted in order to allow the Government to provide participating
teams with information on the probability of future success in this
procurement. As a result of this evaluation the Government identified
four teams that are most likely to have success in the ISI procurement.
The four teams are led by the following prime contractors:
Lockheed-Martin Information Systems, Raytheon, SAIC, and Unisys
Corporation. The Government anticipates the release of the RFP by May
29, 1998. The Government will post changes to the Sections of the draft
RFP as they occur and will periodically post the answers to questions
received as a result of the draft RFP from interested parties entered
on the FEDCAC home page (www.gsa.gov/fedcac). (0120) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0371 19980504\70-0005.SOL)
