The system upgrade components and software must be compatible with the existing system components that will remain in place and must be maintainableby and compatible with the existing security system maintenance and response contractor. The existing system was designed and installed by Per Mar Security Systems, Davenport, Iowa. The security system maintenance and response contractor is Per MarSecurity Systems, Davenport, Iowa. The Rock Island District intends to sole source contract with Per Mar Security Systems, Davenport, Iowa in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. As the designer, installer, and maintenance and response contractor, Per MarSecurity Systems, Davenport, Iowa possesses the unique qualifications to provide the access control system upgrade. Set of specifications will be furnished at no cost. The estimated magnitude of the proposed procurement is between $100,000 and$250,000.
