Morrison, (415)604-1071 Furnish, assemble, and install a digital voice
system. The new system will be used to provide interfaces to NASCOM
provided circuits for ground-to-ground and air-to-ground voice communi
cations used to coordinate space flight experiments with various NASA
Centers. These experiments will fly aboard the Space Shuttle Orbiter,
within the Spacelab and Middeck, and aboard the future international
Space Station (ISS). The system will also be used in experiment test
and integration operations at Ames Research Center, Building N240A and
N244. The scope of the work will include delivery, assembly and setup
of two linked matrix switches with twelve user interface panels and
twenty-four headsets for each matrix. The system will include
installation racks for the matrix switch and will be completely
assembled. The matrix switches will include input/output interfaces to
digital and analog GFE services in voice conference networks and dial
telephone networks. System requirements are in two main cate gories,
the matrix switch and the user interface panel. The switches are to be
fully independent and capable of standalone operation. When linked,
the switches shall be able to share up to 24 circuits in mixed modes,
talk/listen, and monitor only. Each user interface panel is required to
have two headsets of Plan tronic Supra type or equivalent. The system
shall include operations and maintenance and user manuals for the
matrix switch and user interface panels. The government shall provide
cable plant circuits for matrix switch link between buildings N240A and
N244. A summary of the system hardware is as follows: 2 Matrix
Switches, 24 User interface Panels, 48 Headsets. Delivery of the system
shall be 120 days after contract award and shall be fully oper ational
180 days after delivery. The standard industrial classi fication code
is 3661. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. All
responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. The
