Description

This project includes but is not limited to the following: Removal of asbestos containing thermal system insulation on pipes in basement boiler room, remove one (1) 44 boiler horsepower, low pressure steam fire tube boiler, remove one (1) combination boiler feed & vacuum unit. Furnish and install three (3) low pressure steam cast iron boilers, and one (1) combination boiler feed & vacuum units with feed pumps, control and alarm panels, Replace domestic water circulating pump. The completion time for this project is 160 calendar days. NAICS Code is 235110 with a size standard of $11.5 million. The estimate price for the work covered by this solicitation is between $250,000 and $500,000, This procurement is open to all business concerns. For reasons of security, all request for a copy of the solication and drawings must be submitted in writing. Any request for a copy of the documents must be made on a company's official letterhead accompanied by an original signature of an officer of the company, and the officer's title. In order for the request to be valid, the requestor must also provide a copy of one of the following documents: (1) Company's current business license, (2) a valid Dun and Bradstreet number, or (3) a valid state driver's license. No fax, telephonic, or e-mail requests will be honored. No hardcopies of the solicitation will be mailed.
