Description

Notice that the General Service Administration, FTS Region 10, 4040 Wheaton Way Suite 111, Bremerton, WA. 98310 intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order with Anixter Inc., 5055 East Landon Drive, Anaheim, CA 92807 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. For CLIN 0001, Assembly of Channel Bank Equipment. This request is considered to be sole source to Anixter, Inc. therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. All price quotations shall be submitted to Melinda Carlson, not later than 4:00 P.M., PST, January 4th, 2002. Price quotations may be sent via either facsimile to (360) 782-2071 or by email to melinda.carlson@gsa.gov. No telephone requests for this RFQ will be honored. Numbered Note 22 applies.=20
