Description

The U. S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (USACECOM)anticipates award to Raytheon, Command, Control and Communication Systems, 1501 72nd Street N,St. Petersburg, Florida 33733-2248, of a modification to Contract No. DAAB07-97-C-J437 to support Reliability Development Growth Testing (RDGT) for various transmit and receive configurations of the Joint Tactical Terminal/Common Integrated Broadcast Service-Modules (JTT/CIBS-M). Award will be made per FAR 6.302-1(b)(1), Only One Responsible Source. Adequate technical source data is unavailable. Level III drawings and complete system level documentation suitable to sustain a competitive procurement were not purchased on the current contract and are unavailable since the JTT is still under development . The present JTT effort is under Contract No. DAAB07-97-CJ437 with Raytheon, Command, Control and Communication Systems and is managed by CECOM/PEO IEW&S. See Note 22.
