Description

This announcement is a notice of proposed contract action for procurement of a commodity in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The requirement is for a Thermal Shroud Assembly to use with an existing Space Simulation Chamber. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order for the required item. Interested parties other than the manufacturer may identify their interest and must provide a capability statement for production of this item. Any responses to this notice must be received in writing by 1:00 P.M. MST on 20 December 2001. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
