Description

The Directorate of Peninsula Contracting will be issuing Solicitation DABT57-02-B-0001 on or about 15 Jan 2002 to provide services for Programmed Drydocking, Cleaning, Painting and Repairs to US Army Vessel Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 2022, stationed at Ma re Island, Vallejo, CA. Dimensions are as follows: Length overall: 174 feet; Beam: 42 feet; Displacement (light): 575 long tons; Draft Mean (light): 8 feet; Design: 2000 class; Construction: Steel. A Fixed-price contract is contemplated. This procurem ent is unrestricted. The services will include a 90 calendar day performance period. Contractor's shall have a Master Vessel Agreement with Ft Eustis, VA, in order to be awarded this contract. The Solicitation can be obtained through the Army's Single F ace to Industry (AFSI) web site at http://acquisition.army.mil, under business opportunities. All amendments to the Solicitation will be posted to the AFSI web site, Contractors are cautioned to check the web site periodically for amendments.
