- Description
- The Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, SC has a requirement for canopy servicing. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quote M60169-02-T-A001 applies and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-17. The standard industrial code 4581 and the business size standard is 1000 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract for the following: polish and clean twelve two-seat aircraft canopies to remove all surface scratches and hazing with an improvement to transparency clarity. Services to be performed and accepted on site, MCAS Beaufort. The required delivery date for the above item is 10 days after receipt of order. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers- Commercial Items applies. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this Request for Quotation to the technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror base on price alone. Offers are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with their proposals: FAR 52.212-3, Offer Representation and certifications-Commercial Items. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies with the following applicable clauses for paragraph (b): FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 55.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.232-33, payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52-232-36 Payment by Third Party. DFARS 252-212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (b); DFARS 252.206-7000, Domestic Source Restriction; DFARS 252.219-7003, Small, Small Disadvantage and Women-Owned Small Business Subcontracting Plan. The request for quote is to be priced FOB "destination" FAR 52.247-34. Request for quote must be received no later than 3:00 PM, local time, 20 Dec 2001, Offers sent via the US Postal Service should be mailed to Supply Department, Purchasing Branch, Attn: Alberta Abram, PO Box 55024, MCAS Bldg 612, Beaufort, SC 29904-5024. All RFQ's not sent through the US mail will be considered to be hand carried and direct delivered. Hand Carried RFQ's must be delivered directly to building 612, MCAS Beaufort, SC, Purchasing Branch.
