- Description
- This procurement is for the solicitation of a One Step "Turn-Key" Design/Build, firm fixed price contract for NY City, DEP Administrative Facilities, New York, New York. The project consists of the construction of six (6) administrative facilities for use by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection staff. Each of these six facilities will be located on a separate site. The sites for the facilities are: Grahmsville (2 facilities), Downsville, Beerston, Gilboa and Olive. Each of the facilities are one or two story administrative facilities with the associated site development and parking requirements. Buildings range in size from 4,500sf to 12,000sf. Buildings have masonry exteriors and standing seam metal roofs. Requirements for the technical Source Selection factors are as follows: (1) Offeror Performance Capability subfactors (a) Offeror Past Performance, (b) Offeror Project Key Personnel, (c) Technical Approach Narrative, (d) Offeror Relevant Experience, (e) Offeror Management Plans and Schedules (2) Technical subfactors (a) Facility Design, (b) Facility Engineering, (c) Site Design, (d) Site Engineering, and (3) Price (will not be rated). Offerors will be evaluated on both technical quality and conformance to the solicitation and price. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposal prior to award; to negotiate with any or all proposers; to award the contract to other than the lowest total price and to award to the proposer submitting the proposal determined by the Government to be the most advantageous to the Government. PROPOSERS ARE ADVISED ANY AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSAL RECEIVED. The receipt date for proposals is FEBRUARY 28, 2002. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The project duration is 420 days. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. NAICS CODE 233320 applies to this procurement. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
