Description

The General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service, Regional Services Program hereby issues a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Government-wide agency contract (GWAC) to provide Federal customers with a broad range of telecommunications equipment and services. The Solicitation Number 9TE-PM-02-0001 for CONNECTIONS provides equipment, labor, and turnkey solutions to meet a variety of telecommunications infrastructure needs worldwide. This will be Full and Open Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quality contract vehicle with a base of three years and five one-year renewal options. The technical scope has been divided into three categories: (1) Equipment and Services ? commercial off-the-shelf telecommunications equipment and services; (2) Support Services ? defines requirements, assess alternatives, design solutions, and install, operate, upgrade, maintain, and de-install equipment and services; (3) Solutions ? commercially available products and services or customized approaches. The Government anticipates awarding CONNECTIONS contracts in a tiered phased approach. There are staggered Prposal Due Dates for National, Global and States awards as referenced in Section L.15 of the solicitation and/or any revisions noted in the amendments. The maximum ceiling of the GWAC is $35 Billion. The Government will not provide hardcopy/paper solicitations, however, the Request for Proposals is available by downloading from the GSA?s website at answer.gsa.gov/CONNECTIONS. Evaluation will be competitive and based on best value, with non-priced factors are significantly more important than price. The Contracting Officer will receive all questions concerning this procurement via the GSA email address CONNECTIONS@gsa.gov identified by the Solicitation Number 9TE-PM-02-0001.
