Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, anticipates acquiring by negotiation, services to perform Fleet Operational Assessment Support; Systems Engineering and Operations Research Studies; Submarine High Data Rate (HDR) Documentation Support, and Technical and Management Program Support. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type with Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Term and Completion provisions. The period of performance will be five years from date of contract award. The total estimated level of effort is 67,152 man-hours. This effort is a breakout a portion of the effort that was performed under contracts N66604-98-D-2490 and N66604-98-D-249A with Analysis & Technology, Inc. and Sonalysts, Inc. respectively. Award will be made on the basis of Best Value to the government. The evaluation factors will be Personnel, Past Performance and Cost. The resulting contract will be a single award. There is one Key Labor Category, Engineer, Electrical/Electronics Level IV for 4,800 hours. Service Contract Act applies and Wage Determinations for RI will be obtained. Estimated release date is 12/31/01. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation for this effort will be a 100% small business set-aside.
