Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command-Atlantic intends to procure utilizing Simplified Acquisition Pr ocedures in accordance with FAR Part 13, and Policies in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items a Red Conference Swith, configured as a 34x18 (34 red handset inputs and 18 crypto outputs). Salient Characteristics are as follows: 1.) Interfaces to both TA-970 phones, ISDN phones , and encryption devices. 2.) Scaleable to maximum capacity of 388 lines and 256 trunks. 3.) Digital input is an ISDN PRI that passes up to 22 BRI circuits in a single 4 wire connection. 4.) Analog input/output is a 12 wire interface that passes all audio and discretes to support legacy equipment. 5.) Allows up to 24 users in a conference and unlimited number of conferences. 6.) Management via Windows NT, software SNMP compliant. 7.) Multi level security access. 8.) NVRAM storage of configuration. 9.) Automatic background testing. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334210 and Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees.
