This announcement constitutes the only solicitation in which quotations are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. The closing date and time for receipt of quotations is: Wednesday, January 9, 2001, 4:00 p.m. local time, 2301 M Street, NW, Suite 400, Washington, DC 20037. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). RONCO Consulting Corporation is the implementer of the U.S. State Department Integrated Mine Action Support Project, Contract No. S-LMAQM-99-D-0144. The contract requires RONCO to provide technical and procurement assistance in the areas of demining training and procurement services. W have been requested to provide the following commodities for Afghanistan for this contract. We are requesting quotations for Office Road Sport Utility Vehicles. The objective of this procurement is to purchase the following commercial items: ITEM NO. 1 Quantity Thirteen (13) 4x4 SUV Vehicles w/HardTops, 13 Seater, Left Hand Drive, Off Road Capability, 6 Cylinders, Air Conditioning, Diesel Engine, Heavy Duty Cooling System, Battery Electric 12 Volts, 5 Speed Manual Transmission, Radial Tires, Heavy Duty Suspension System, Cloth Fabric, AM/FM Stereo/Cassette, Color White, Toyota Landcruiser Model No. HZJ78L-RJMRS or Equal; ITEM NO. 2 Quantity Twelve (12) 4x4 SUV Converted Ambulances w/HardTops, 3 Seater, Left Hand Drive, Off Road Capability, 6 Cylinders, Air Conditioning, Diesel Engine, Heavy Duty Cooling System, Battery Electric 12 Volts, 5 Speed Manual Transmission, Radial Tires, Heavy Duty Suspension System, Cloth Fabric, AM/FM Stereo/Cassette, Color White, Toyota Landcruiser Model No. HZJ78L-RJMRS or Equal; Ambulance Equipment: Intravenous Track Mounted onto Roof w/hooks, Flashing Beacon (blue) Mounted onto Roof, PA System w/Siren, Attendant Seat, White Medical Cross w/Green Background Emblems Affixed to Side Doors, First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, Interior Lights, Plywood Floor covered with Non-Slip Medical Linoleum, Foldable Stretcher w/Backrest, Tinted or Frosted Windows. NOTES: 1) Successful vendor(s) will be requested to provide a ten percent (10%) performance bond prior to issuance of the purchase order. 2) Desired Delivery Schedule: Immediately, but no later than February 15, 2002, CIF Peshawar, Pakistan. 3) All quotations must be submitted in English and in U.S. Dollars. E-Mail or fax quotations are acceptable. 4) Suppliers wishing to participate in this procurement must notify RONCO via e-mail and/or fax with contact information advising of intention to participate in this procurement and to be placed on bidders list for future amendments and/or clarification answers to supplier questions. 5) Questions/Clarifications concerning this procurement must be submitted in writing via fax or e-mail, prior to Wednesday, January 2, 2001@ 4:00 p.m. local time. TELEPHONE ENQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 6) All equipment proposed, must be new and unused. 7) Literature and descriptive information on all items proposed is requested.
