Description

The Military District of Washington Acquisition Center intends to issue a Solicitation to Construct an Addition to Bldg. PO1220, Fort A.P. Hill, Bowling Green, Virginia. The contractor is to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision for wor k that consists but not limited to the demolition and removal of selected features of the existing building; locate and field verify existing utilities and install connections as required; the construction of a new slab on grade, concrete masonry unit addi tion and new infill; installation of a new mechanical unit and the reworking of electrical equipment to support the new addition; removal of the existing fire alarm system and replacement with a new ADA and code compliant fire alarm system. Installation o f fire alarm system in the addition; installation of sidewalks to the addition; replacement of the existing windows in the front wing of the existing building. This project will be awarded Firm Fixed Price with a performance period of 210 calendar days. The magnitude is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS Code is 233320 with size standard $27.5 Million. This project is 100 percent Set-Aside Small Business. The Solicitation and Drawings will be mailed on CD-ROM. Software applications req uired to view the solicitation and drawings are Microsoft Word (Solicitation) and any graphics software capable of opening TIF (.tif) Image Format files.
