UPDATE: REVISED SOLICITATION (RE: Solicitation # F33600-02-R-1004). THE FOLLOWING SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS HAS BEEN REVISED AS FOLLOWS: This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal are being requested, and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through federal acquisition circular 90-46. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. A lists of the required supplies/services areas follows: 0001 ANSI complete 2 user WPAFB, P/N wpq51; 0002 AV-data (excludes UKCAA) P/N QAVP; 0003 EIA complete network, P/N 580n; 0004 AIA/NAS complete, P/N 340n; 0005 ASTM complete, P/N 410n; 0006 Military Specs and Standards complete, w/weekly updates P/N QS1S; 0007 DOD adopted industry standards, P/N dsa53; 0008 asme complete, P/N 530n; 0009 ashrae (American society/heat, refrig) complete, P/N 521n; 0010 DSS historical complete, P/N ds979; 0011 NATO documents, P/N ml959; 0012 ASA complete, P/N 536n; 0013 aws (American Welding Society) complete, P/N 550n; 0014 SAE Society of Automotive Engineers) complete, P/N 670l. These two user network subscriptions are for the Wright-Patterson AFB Engineering Directorate. The performance period for this contract shall begin 1 Jan 2002 and end 31 Mar 02. *There are no paper copies of this solicitation available! * * Faxed proposals are not accepted. * *Proposals shall be received by 4:00 EST on 19 Dec 01. * Mr. Michael Higgins has been appointed ombudsman to hear concerns during the proposal development. The purpose of this office is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. existence of the ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the contracting officer; the ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of the solicitation, the statement of work, or the evaluation of the proposals.
