Description

The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, intends to award a sole source purchase order for parts manufactured by Cajon, Swagelock, and Nupro for the upgrade and maintenance of various life saving and underwater salvage and life support equipment systems. The acquisition is unsuitable for full and open competition by direction of NAVSEA Code 00C, Supervisor of Diving and Salvage, because the listed manufacturers' parts are the only units successfully tested and approved by the MARCORPSYSCOM Diving and Parachuting Authority for specialized life support and salvage operations equipment. Note 22 applies.
