- Description
- All sources capable of providing the following services are being sought. This is NOT a notice of RFP issuance. The Radiation Oncology USAF Medical Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) OH anticipates a competitive acquisition to provide professional medical and clinic support to perform technical/professional clinical programs in radiation oncology therapy health care in support of the mission of Radiation Oncology at the 74th Medical Group, Wright-Patterson AFB OH. Contractor care includes furnishing all labor, transportation, teaching reports, transcription of dictation, preceptoring, supervision, and consultation. Care shall be as comprehensive as Government supplied facilities; equipment and support services permit, including all aspects of fluoroscopic simulation and delivery of external beam radiation therapy and brachytherapy. Period of performance 1 Apr 02 -- 31 Mar 03. Four one-year options may be awarded. In addition to the information requested in the paragraph below entitled "Capabilities Package" responding parties must also indicate their business size status in relation to the applicable The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code, 621512, with an associated standard of $10 million. Businesses including their affiliates, whose gross annual receipts averaged over the previous 3 fiscal years do not exceed $10 million are considered to be small businesses. This effort is a follow-on to the current contract F33601-98-D-J017. Capabilities Package-Interested parties shall submit a capabilities package, with two (2) copies of the cover letter, that is brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrates: a. Ability to meet the above stated requirements as well as sufficiently qualified personnel meeting all health requirements. b. Provide proof of education, experience and board certification of personnel. c. Malpractice history. d. Capability of providing replacement staff. The capabilities package should present clear evidence that interested party is fully capable of providing the required services and as such may contain any information the interested party feels is relevant. Responses must not exceed 30 double spaced, 12 pitch/10 point not to exceed 12 characters per inch, typed, 8.5 x 11 inch pages. All materials submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis must be received by 28 December 01.
