Description

The job of Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) combines clinical medical knowledge with administrative, management, leaders hip and teaching skills to identify and assist in the resolution of issues or problems arising in the SSA disability program . This procurement will be for commercial item services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 12. There will be no contact with patients. Competitive pricing will be solicited and accepted. The period of performa nce shall be one-(1) year from the date of award, with provisions for the inclusion of four one-year option periods. Solicit ation number SSA-RFQ-III-02-0002 is scheduled for release on or about December 19, 2001, with proposals due 21 days later. R equests for the RFQ should be received no later than 10 days after the date of this publication. No telephone requests for t he RFQ will be honored. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. Proposals received from OTHER than small busine sses will be deemed unacceptable and will be given no further consideration.
