Description

The USDA intends to modify Contract 53-3142-9-1001 with IBM Government Industry, 6710 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MD, 20817, to include MQSeries Software and Support. Negotiations will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only ONe Source that meets the needs of the agency. MQSeries software and support will be installed at the USDA, National Information Technology Center, Kansas City, MO. The period of performance will be consistent with the option periods already negotiated under the contract (through 9/30/2003, if all options are exercised. No solicitation document exists and requests for a copy of a solicitation will be ignored. All responses to this notice must be in writing and received by the issuing office no later than December 26, 2001.
