Description

The Weapon Systems and Technology Team at U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. is pursuing an ongoing program for the development of munition concepts that will advance the performance as well as the manufacturing technology aspects of various gun launched munitions. These efforts will enhance lethality and accuracy for future and legacy systems in various calibers. This Task Order effort will provide the vehicle and the flexibility for ARDEC to partner with industry on several design, engineering, prototype manufacture and manufacturing technology tasks. The Government plan is to select and award Task Order Contracts to one or more contractors. The specific tasks to be placed under this contract is dependent on availability of funds, Government program needs and scheduling. The contractor shall provide all facilities equipment, labor and materials (except equipment and materials the Government may elect to furnish) and incidental services necessary to carry out the requirements of the selected tasks. The minimum requirements for selection that must be met by the contractor will be based on the suitability of contractor in-house and demonstrated in-house experience and capabilities. This will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Contract for a period of five (5) years from date of award. Note #26 applies
