Description

This project is for the installation of Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) vegetative survey plots across the Gifford Pinchot, Olympic and Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest lands. FIA plots to be installed include 67 plots (2 in wilderness) on the Gifford Pinchot, 29 plots on the Olympic and 35 plots on the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie for a total 131 plots during the 2002 field season. All plot installations are located at previously installed CVS plots. GPS readings of plot centers are required with Government supplied GPS units. Field data will be collected using Government supplied handheld data recording/editing units and submitted to the Government in specified electronic format. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is or about February 1, 2002. Response date listed is estimate only. Estimated start work date is approximately May 1, 2002. Contract to be completed no later than September 30, 2002. NAICS code is 115310. Price evaluation preference will be given to HUBzone small business concerns.
