THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE Synopsis FOR ALTERNATE ACCESS TO STATION (AAS) SYSTEMS CONCEPT OF A LOGISTICS RESUPPLY SERVICE TO THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS NOTICE. This notice serves as the official amendment to the subject solicitation and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to revise the anticipated release date of the RFO from December 17, 2001 to early January 2002. The delay is necessitated due to on going review of the design reference mission. It is anticipated that the proposal due date will remain early February 2002(i.e. 30 days after solicitation release). The specific due date for receipt of offers will be included in the RFO. Documents related to this solicitation will be available over the Internet. These documents are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
