Description
This modification to the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) notices of October 26, 2001 and November 7, 2001, is issued to change the issuance date for release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for Commercial Facilities Management Services at the Department of Veteran Affairs, 810 Vermont Avenue, N.W., Washington, D. C. The release date for issuance of the RFP is changed from November 6, 2001 to on or about December 6, 2001. Proposals will be due by 3:30 p.m. local time January 7, 2001. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled for December 13, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. at the Department of Veteran Affairs, 810 Vermont Avenue, N.W., Room 230, Washington, D. C. For security purposes, each individual attending the pre-proposal conference must submit their name, company name and address, telephone and fax numbers no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on December 12, 2001. A pre-proposal conference attendance form is provided electronically for this purpose as well as included under Part I, Section A, General Notice to All Offerors, in the RFP. A Government issued identification is also required for entrance. Company individuals who do not comply with this request will not be admitted into the building. The pre-proposal conference attendance form can be either faxed to Mary E. Holloway at (202) 708-4645 or sent by e-mail to marye.Holloway@gsa.gov. All offerors must report on time to the designated location above and then will be escorted throughout the building. The size standard for the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code 235990 is $11.5 million (13 base maintenance). NOTE: This procurement has been identified as a possible set-aside under the Javits-Wagner O-Day (JWOD) ACT (41 U.S.C. 46-48c). Refer to Federal Register Notice dated October 9, 2001 (Volume 66, Number 195) [Page 51371 ? 51372], Committee for Purchase from People who are Blind or Severly Disabled, Proposed Additions to Procurement List. If this procurement is placed on the JWOD Procurement List before award, it may be cancelled (See FAR Part 8). The period of performance has been changed to a base period of 12 months with four 12-month options. The total performance period will not exceed five (5) years. All other requirements of the CBD notice remain unchanged.
