Description

The Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a pasture facility to maintain wild horses. The facility must be located East of the Mississippi River. The requirement is to provide for a centrally located Contractor-owned or leased facility to be known as an Adoption/Holding facility for wild horses and burros. During monthly adoptions at the facility, the animals in adoptable condition at the facility will be made available for adoption. The facility will also be used to rest and acclimate animals to the East and prepare them to be sent to the next adoption. Sick/Quarantine/Rehabilitation animals shall be kept in the facility in separate pens. The Contractor shall provide all necessary administrative support and equipment in support of this requirement.
