Description

The U.S. Customs Service is planning a sole source procurement from Leco Corporation. The item description is as follo ws: Dual Indenter Automatic Microhardness Tester, AMH32-LM247. A dual Indenter Microindentation Tester with Automatic Turret consisting of Microindentation Hardness Tester, PIII 1GB 4.0GB HD Computer w/WIN98 software 22" color monitor, High Resolut ion CCD Video Camera, Isolation Table, Sage Micrometer and Test Blocks (1 Knoop 500gF/700HK range and 1 Vickers 500gF/700HV range with certifi-cates). The Automatic Turret with four (4) objective slots and two (2)indenter slots, both a Knoop & Vick ers indenter on the turret, standard 10x and 50x objectives, dead weight loading system, test load range 10-1000gf, auto loa d/release, dwell time 5-99 seconds, built-in auto-matic focus w/0.1 micron resolution, LCD display/contrl panel, electronic measuring, automatic con-versions, and outputs.
