Description

USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center, WES, proposes to issue a sole source award open market to Kinemetrics, Inc., to furnish and delivery SEVEN(7) each Model Etna (18-bits), High Dynamic Range Accelerograph, with Internal Triaxial EpiSensor Acc elerometer deck (2g full scale range-standard), with 16 Mbytes SanDisk removable PCMCIA flash memory card, with Internal Modem Ready capability, with Support Software QuickLook and QuickTalk for Windows, Operation manual with calibration data; ONE(1) Mode l K2, High Dynamic Range accelerograph (24-bit), with Internal Triaxial EpiSensor Force Balance Accelerometer, Channels 1-3,(2 g full scale range-standard), provision for connection to External Sensor, Channels 4-6, with 16 Mbytes SanDisk removal PCMCIA fl ash memory card, with 12 Amp-hour internal battery(s) and charger, with internal modem ready capability, with operation manual and calibration data for each accelerograph, with support software QuickLook and QuickTalk for Windows; ONE(1) each Model ES-T, E piSensor Triaxial Force Balance Accelerometer, (2 g full scale range-STANDARD); ONE(1) each Cable, K2 to EpiSensor ES-T, 250 feet with connectors. The proposed award action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within 15 days afte r date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
